Jeff’s journey in hospitality and wine is driven by a deep passion for both. His extensive experience includes working with esteemed estates and restaurants in Burgundy, New Zealand, Washington, and Oregon, where he has developed a nuanced understanding of wine and restaurant business.
Jeff's fascination with wine began during his time as a corporate buyer for Nordstrom. As his love for wine grew he shifted career path and pursued formal wine training. He earned certifications from the International Sommelier Guild and Court of Master Sommeliers and currently holds the Advanced Sommelier designation. Over the past 20 years, he has contributed to creating notable wine programs in the Pacific Northwest including Michael Mina’s RN74 and Cafe Juanita
In 2007, Jeff, alongside the White Family, founded W.T. Vintners, starting with a modest production of 50 cases in a Woodinville garage. Since then, W.T. Vintners has grown and gained recognition, reflecting Jeff’s commitment and expertise in both sommellerie and winemaking. Since those first 2 barrels of Syrah, Jeff has gone on to add Raconteurs Wine Company and Gorgiste to his stable of wineries.
